To kick things off, we've invited a few of our #MenWhoBlog members to share their stories but we want to hear yours as well!

englewood beach punta gorda florida

A couple years ago I visited Punta Gorda for a solo-trip with ManTripping and I fell in love with the destination. It has beaches, fishing, seafood, golf, great people and great food. Unlike other parts of Florida it has still maintained a solid sense of natural beauty without being over commercialized. Now we're headed back there with a group of amazing gentlemen to experience even more of what adventures await us there.

allison pr influencer marketing survey results

Allison PR is an agency that I have a lot of respect for and they represent a bunch of awesome accounts that I know many of you would love to work with. This includes: Toyota, Jansport, Moe's Southwest Grill and more. As a PR Agency they are sort of stuck in the middle (along with most of us honestly). How should brands work with Inflencers, what opportunities for providing value to we represent to their clients. This is a murky space but I - James from ManTripping.com - was honored to be part of the survey that they just released. Let's take a look at some of their results ...

We've organized many "Blogger Mancations" over the past five years and bloggers as well as brands continue to ask for more. Unfortunately, by nature the "Blogger Mancation" events are expensive for hosts to sponsor as well as work with us to organize. That often leads to them become limited to only the top tier of our network of male bloggers and influencers. That leaves many guys with smaller or more niche audiences out in the cold despite their talent and enthusiasm waiting to be shared. By introducing WAR ROOM events like this one in San Pedro (Los Angeles), California, we'll be able to engage more men at a variety of audience sizes and stages of influencer development.

making marketing automation look natural

I'm not going to get into the debate about whether or not you should use marketing automation tools, a virtual assistant, or grind the old fashioned way. The reality is that marketing automation technologies are key to any business today from selling staplers to promoting blog posts and building more connections within your industry. The challenge that I find though is that all too often people don't know how to use the tools and simply assume that they are a way to "cheat" and jump ahead of the line on their way to fame and fortune. Let's take a look at how to use marketing automation tools so the result looks as natural as possible!

james mantripping influencer

While we do our own campaigns, this organization likes to play friendly with other blogger networks. One of the most frequent questions that I get asked is "how do you get all those cool opportunities?" I've been fortunate that my background was in doing influencer relations for a variety of big brands prior to becoming a full-time blogger and so I built up a good network of people who have helped me out. The following is a list of my favorite blogger networks that work with male influencers.

Whether you’re planning your first snowmobile experience or simply heading to Montana to have the best snowmobile adventure possible, here’s some advice to make sure your trip is the best that it can be.

I've been a "blogger" for more than 20 years. My first blogs began as video game sites back in the mid 1990's. Back then, anyone who published content online and wasn't part of a corporate media organization was simply referred to as a blogger. Today though, the landscape is MUCH MORE COMPLEX. Despite this, terms like "blogger" and "influencer" are used interchangeably. I'm guilty of not using these terms distinctly as well and in part that's because some bloggers are influencers too. This is either through sheer scale of their reach or that they focus on their expertise and personality more than sharing news and other content provided to them. Over the past year I've started to see not just the clear lines of differentiation, but also the impact that these two types of content creators can produce ... as well as the marketing impact. Let's take a look at the difference between engaging with influencers and bloggers.

novoo ac power bank in hand

One of the things about blogging is that we consume a lot of power. Most of us travel with multiple phones and/or tablets, a laptop, and a camera. Sometimes we even have a drone or other device that needs an AC port to charge up. That's why I absolutely LOVE the Novoo AC Power Bank from Omars Electronics. Featuring a whopping 20,100 mAh battery capacity, it not only has a USB-A charger with QuickCharge 3.0 but a USB-C port and a 60 watt AC port too! We pulled together some of our favorite male bloggers and gave them a chance to check it out too and now we're giving you a chance to win one as well.

Often we are so focused on “getting there” that we forget about the importance of protecting our environment. Unfortunately, just like our own yards – neglect can lead to disaster. That’s why we partnered with Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, Gunaxin.com and ManTripping.com to talk about the importance of preventing the spread of Aquatic Invasive Species.

Join us as we talk Tim from Gunaxin and Russ Hartzell from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks about Fishing in Montana and the importance of helping to prevent the introduction of invasive species into the waterways.

Luckily, it’s pretty easy to help prevent the spread of aquatic invaders … you just have to pay attention.

For those of you who didn’t watch the video above, it’s as simple as Clean, Drain, Dry.

Before leaving the water access area, make sure that your boat and gear is clean of all plants, mud, and slime that might have attached to it while boating. Then be diligent to ensure that you drain everything – including bait wells, and any pockets where water might have collected in the bilge, engine, trailer, or gear. Finally, make sure that everything is dry before heading home.

If you follow these simple guidelines you’ll be able to help prevent the spread of Aquatic Invasive Species and protect Montana’s waterways for future generations.

Finally … make sure to stop at any applicable watercraft inspection station and heed the advice of the inspectors. They are here to help make sure that everyone has a good time and that we protect this amazing natural resource.
